The Northern Territory Attorney-General's Department has issued a Draft
Information Bill for public comment. The Draft plus an Executive Summary and
Discussion Paper are available on the NT Government website.

According to the Introduction, the Bill will "...provide a framework for the
management of government information in the Northern Territory in a single,
comprehensive legislative package. [It] deals with the issues of freedom of
information, privacy and records management, seamlessly and consistently...".
